This style of deck truss was a favorite for the Chicago & North Western, due to its reliability and stability in case of damage. A similar bridge exists near Webster City, Iowa, among many others.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition. The stonework is in very good condition.

The author has ranked the bridge as being moderately significant, due to the design.
